Momenta has invested in CubeWorks®, an IoT company that delivers next generation IoT sensor technology and real-time supply chain visibility solutions for the cold chain, through its DIF III and DIF V funds. This investment reinforces Momenta’s conviction that the future of supply chain optimization depends on scalable and energy-efficient sensing and connectivity that enables end-to-end visibility across distributed supply chains.
Powering the Next Generation of Connected Assets
Born out of the University of Michigan’s Integrated Circuits Lab, CubeWorks introduced the CubiSens™ platform, enabling wireless sensing in unprecedented small form factors. Today, the company’s portfolio includes the NanoTag smart label, CubeWorks® Tag, and CubeWorks® Cloud platform, providing real-time visibility into the location and condition of temperature-sensitive shipments.
CubeWorks addresses the business needs of food, life sciences, and industrial organizations to improve quality assurance, reduce operational costs, and help companies gain greater visibility across both the cold and supply chains.
CubeWorks’ products are engineered to integrate seamlessly into companies’ existing operations. NanoTag leverages LoRaWAN technology to provide real-time temperature and location tracking for temperature-sensitive cargo. Paired with the CubeWorks Cloud SaaS platform, customers gain continuous visibility into shipment location and condition, helping support regulatory compliance.
Introduced in 2026, the next generation CubeWorks Tag offers customers location and the condition of a given product, along with real-time data and a high level of connectivity through broad coverage and certification on the Amazon Sidewalk network, at an industry leading cost point.
