Alistair brings more than two decades of experience turning foundational industrial technologies into scaled, market-defining platforms.

Alistair’s career is defined by a rare operating pattern: helping deep technology companies build and grow across all layers of the industrial digital stack, from silicon and embedded systems to platforms, software, data, and global go to market execution. Few leaders operate so consistently at the intersection of deep technology and commercial scale.

Across Microsoft, Hitachi, Semtech, Blues, and emerging innovators, Alistair has repeatedly stepped in at critical inflection points, when strong technology required operating discipline, ecosystem design, and execution to scale globally:

• At Blues Wireless, he built and scaled global go-to-market and ecosystem strategies, making secure, cloud-connected IoT infrastructure accessible to enterprises and developers worldwide.
  
  
• At Semtech, he led the scaling of the LoRa and LoRaWAN ecosystem into one of the world’s most widely adopted low-power networking platforms, driving revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and global adoption.
  
  
• At Hitachi, he led product and commercialization for the Lumada Industrial IoT platform, building the ecosystem, execution model, and go-to-market needed to achieve rapid enterprise scale.
  
  
• At Microsoft, he helped launch and scale Azure IoT, leading early product and market development that established Microsoft as a major force in enterprise IoT.
