Kate Kovalenko Joins Momenta as Associate Partner

Expanding Our Presence in Central and Eastern Europe

We’re pleased to welcome Kateryna (Kate) Kovalenko as an Associate Partner based in Prague. Central and Eastern Europe continues to be a strong source of industrial innovation, and Kate will help us deepen our network, accelerate deal flow, and support founders across the region.

Kate joins Momenta from DEPO Ventures, where she focused on deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio support for early-stage startups in dual-use, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. She also helped strengthen the local ecosystem through events, community building, and LP engagement.

Earlier in her career, she worked in the e-commerce team at Avast, one of Czechia’s early unicorns. She holds a double master’s degree in international management from CEMS and a degree in economics, trade, and commerce from the Prague University of Economics and Business.

At Momenta, Kate will focus on emerging industrial technologies, including robotics, automation-to-autonomy, IT/OT convergence, and dual-use innovation. Being based near Rockwell’s new Advanced Technology Research Lab in Prague, she will help extend our regional presence and deepen our collaboration with partners.
